Data Analysis: An Early Career Committee Office Hours is a free, interactive virtual session hosted by ISMTE’s Early Career Committee. Designed as an informal, one-hour Office Hour, this event invites both early-career and mid-career editorial office professionals to engage in an open discussion around ways to build practical data analysis skills and use insights to make informed editorial, marketing, and strategic decisions. This session will offer a pair of short presentations centered on interpreting demographics and examining reviewer engagement through data reports and will help participants to confidently leverage data in their publishing role. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A.

The discussion will be led by two experienced data analysis leaders in scholarly publishing, Anna Jester (Wiley) and Xander Vaeth (American Gastroenterological Association), who will guide conversation and offer insights from their experience using data analysis as a powerful tool to optimize organizational growth in the publishing sphere.

This is a free event open to all editorial professionals; ISMTE membership is not required, but registration is required to attend.
