AI is rapidly transforming the core processes of scholarly publishing — from editorial workflows and author support to metadata creation, integrity checks, and early decision‑making. As AI tools become more embedded in day‑to‑day operations, publishers face both new opportunities and new responsibilities.
This webinar brings together expert voices to explore how AI is being used in real editorial settings, where it strengthens workflow efficiency and quality, and where thoughtful human oversight remains essential. We will also examine the ethical frameworks emerging around transparency, bias mitigation, and accountability, and how publishers can build trustworthy, sustainable AI‑enabled systems.
