Ethics 101: An Early Career Committee Office Hours is a free, interactive virtual session hosted by ISMTE’s Early Career Committee. Designed as an informal, one-hour Office Hour, this event invites both early-career and mid-career editorial office professionals to engage in open discussion around diverse challenges and practical approaches to managing publication ethics and research integrity in editorial offices. Rather than a traditional webinar, the session will center on participant questions, shared experiences, and live Q&A.
The discussion will be led by two experienced ethics leaders in scholarly publishing, Stephanie Kinnan (American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) and Melanie Slavitch (Canadian Science Publishing), who will guide conversation and offer real-world insights from their work in editorial integrity and policy.
This is a free event open to all editorial professionals; ISMTE membership is not required, but registration is required to attend.
