Series Description
Artificial intelligence tools, such as large language models (LLMs), are rapidly transforming how editorial offices operate. This interactive workshop series lead by Jay Patel and Chhavi Chauhan offers editorial professionals a practical
introduction to the AI landscape, with a focus on real-world applications in manuscript handling, communications, and content management. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how LLMs work, explore current tools, and engage in hands-on
exercises to practice crafting effective prompts. The workshop will also address ethical considerations, including responsible use & guidelines for authors, editors, and reviewers. Whether you’re curious about AI or looking to optimize your workflows,
this series will provide actionable insights and take-home strategies for integrating AI into your everyday work.
Series Overview
Participants can choose to attend either all modules in the servies or individual modules of their choice. Participants who sign up for all 4 modules will receive a discount and a certficate of completion at the end of the course.
