Please join us for ISMTE Office Hours, hosted by the Early Career Committee!



ISMTE Office Hours are virtual, one-hour informal events where a single topic is discussed by the attendees.

In this hour, a detailed discussion of the peer review process, featuring two panel experts who will share their knowledge and experiences.




About the panelists:

Heather Malloy is a senior peer review operations professional, with 14 years of experience in journals peer review at companies including Wiley, Nature, and Mary Ann Liebert. She brings her prior publishing technology and project management experience to her work, and is specifically interested in process/workflow improvement, and publication ethics.

Diane Dunham Drexler Diane Dunham Drexler has a BA from the University of Mary Washington in VA and an M.Ed. from Converse College in SC. She was a Chemistry and Physics teacher prior to her career in scholarly publishing. Diane has worked on several titles for a variety of publishers including Springer Nature, Elsevier, and American Institute of Physics, and is currently managing peer review for 2 flagship physics journals and a society medical journal.
