Booking is now open for the 2023 CIEP conference, being held at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, Glasgow, UK, and online from Saturday 9 to Monday 11 September.

Quality programme
The theme for this year’s conference is 'Language matters', and the programme will offer sessions on, amongst other things, sensitivity reading for children's books, copyediting dialogue and the impact of AI on editing, as well as the core skills editorial professionals need do their jobs effectively.

Recordings of sessions will be available to both in-person and online delegates for three months after the conference.
There will also be plenty of opportunities to network and socialise for both sets of delegates, including the Saturday night dinner and quiz and the gala dinner on the Sunday for those attending in person, and the quiz and other themed and general networking sessions for those online.

Booking for the conference is now open. The deadline for booking an in-person conference place is 5pm on Friday 7 July; the deadline for an online place is 5pm on Friday 1 September.

The resident rate includes all conference sessions; all meals and refreshments from Saturday evening to Monday afternoon; the gala dinner on Sunday; and accommodation on Saturday and Sunday nights.
The non-resident rate includes all conference sessions from registration on the relevant morning until the end of that afternoon, plus lunch and refreshments.

All delegates will have access to recordings of sessions for three months after the conference.
