Description
Not all reviewers are trained alike in their degree programs; some are not trained at all, leaving journals to fill the gap. Reviewers are an extremely important partner in a journal’s peer review process, so ensuring they understand what editors and
authors need from them and how to provide it, as well as keeping them engaged with your journal, is critical to a successful partnership. The task of reviewer development is daunting, but speakers from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy show session attendees their development and engagement programs, and share information about design and implementation, so you can go back to your editorial office armed with helpful new
tools.
