Kent Anderson blogs from ISMTE conference 8/4/2009
While waiting for his turn in line for the buffet lunch, guest speaker Kent Anderson, turned to Jason Roberts, President and had him speak into his iPhone. Minutes later the podcast onversation was on Anderson's blog site, the Scholarly Kitchen. His great comment: "The ISMTE is a growing organization with an interesting, engaged, and savvy membership. It was a pleasure speaking with them." Listen to the whole blog.
Baltimore meeting a success - 8/3-5, 2009
ISMTE just concluded its 2nd Annual US Meeting in Baltimore, August 4-5. With 60 participants, our attendance doubled from 2008's inaugural meeting. Thanks to the excellent speakers, especially Kent Anderson and Peter Binfield. And thanks to the attendees, whose enthusiastic participation in discussion and Q&A sessions was equally valuable. We all came home with new ideas to consider and answers to questions we'd brought to the meeting -- not to mention connections to peers we can contact throughout the year! Don't miss out on the UK Conference August 25, 2009 in Oxford.
